Helpzen ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered customer support platform operated by Helpzen. Our website is helpzen.io and our dashboard is available at app.helpzen.io.

Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and workspace name when you register.
Billing data: payment information is processed by Stripe. We store only subscription status and plan details — never your card number.
Support data: conversations, messages, and contacts managed within your Helpzen workspace.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the product.
Device data: IP address, browser type, and operating system for security and analytics.

3. How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve Helpzen.
To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing notifications).
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To respond to support requests.
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate Helpzen:

Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery
Anthropic / Google / OpenAI — AI features (only the message content you submit for AI processing)
Hetzner — cloud infrastructure (EU servers)

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
